Originally requested to give informal design input on a previous Pre-Application design and planning response, BPB were asked to redesign the scheme and submit a new planning application for a large 5-bedroom house in the Lower Bourne area of Farnham.
Located within the densely wooded Arcadian Area this site sought to sub-divide and develop the front portion of a large residential plot. Working around the existing trees and addressing the Pre-Application items was central to turning a very negative response to an approval with no changes required.
The scheme sought to reflect the strong local character and materiality of the area, and through a few features provide a contemporary twist.
