BPB Architect worked with Tricel Weston to demolish an existing asbestos clad warehouse to create space for a taller and more efficient new build warehouse.
The old warehouse was not fit for purpose and the new building has created a more efficient storage area for Tricel Weston. The new building is a big improvement on the overall appearance of the industrial site. The new roof and wall cladding create a clearly modern building with a crisp and clean finish.
We worked closely with the client and larger design team to prepare a planning application to North Somerset as well as the tender information and building regulations information. Once a contractor was appointed, we provided Contract Administration for the project.
As lead designer, BPB Architect were responsible for the coordination of consultant and sub-contractors’ proposals to ensure that the designs were compliant and achievable on site. We worked closely with the structural Engineers and Wiltons to deliver the project on time and within budget.
BPB also acted as the Principal Designer for the project to ensure that the works were fully compliant with Health and Safety.
