BPB were appointed by two-neighbours in Bedminster wishing to build a single-storey extension to their terraced properties, with one client wishing to also add a loft dormer.
The ground floor extension would provide a larger kitchen and day-space, opening up to the tiered south-facing garden. The first floor would add a bedroom, ensuite and home-office.
To tie the new elements together both at roof and ground level, composite cladding was selected which required successfully working with the council to get this more contemporary material used.
Large rooflights were fitted to bring the light deep into the extension and replacement windows to the rear elevation to tie the work together.
